As of right now I only have 35 Demasoni, 4 synodontis cats and HOPEFULLY my yellow labs will be here this week, weather pemitting. I am not sure if I will add any other 1 kind of mbuna or fish to the tank. If I do I may get either more of the dems and labs or a 6 pack of albino bristlenose plecos (I just bought 12 babies today but they are in the upstairs pleco tank)

I am currently running 3 emperor 400's and will be adding an FX5 for overkill, hey you can NEVER have to much filtration. I would LOVE to hear opinions good and bad (but respectful) on my tank.

wow. ok. nice in a way. I am not a slate stack fan.. they are hard to do and look natural.. This looks stacked.

Demasoni I take it?? mean little guys.

I would place in plants here and their INTO some places of rock and give it more color and some life.. But that is me..

I kept Demasoni for a long time and really enjoyed having them - i replaced them with Saulosi and miss them terribly

The tank looks great, except as Midas meantioned - its hard to make slate look natural. My only suggestion would be more rock - but as you get to know me you'll realise that in my world there can never be too much rock (a throw back from my demasoni days lol)

When I kept those guys i constantly tried to add a 3rd group of mbuna and it always ended up in a disaster. I dont think i would try it again.

Well I think it looks good. Question- how many pounds of rock is that? I hope you got egg crate or something underneath. Great job
